Renu has been in the financial services industry since 1998. Since then, she’s amassed a wealth of expertise in financial planning, with a special emphasis on legacy planning.
In addition to helping her clients navigate retirement, investment and estate planning, she is also adept at financial risk management, insurance planning, tax planning and business succession planning. She is known for helping clients make sense of the often complex financial decisions that face them at various life stages.
She began her financial services career with AXA Advisors. Prior to entering the industry, Renu was a professor of economics at the University at Albany, Union College, Ohio University, Western Connecticut State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Renu received her B.A. in economics and her M.A. in economics and math from India’s Panjab University. She went on to receive her Ph.D. in economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Renu is past president of the Tri-City India Association and was a board member of the Hindu Temple for nine years. She currently serves on the committee for the Tri-City Support Group. She lives in Niskayuna, New York with her husband and three children and has authored two books, one of them on poetry, which is an avid interest of hers.
